Methodology & sources

How we source data

We collect from grading companies' own official pages and fee tables (110 official sources of 113 total). Each source record stores the canonical URL, publisher, retrieval method, HTTP status at capture, and a retrieval timestamp. We verify at least one record per company by hand against the official page before trusting any assisted enrichment.

What "checked on" means

Pricing, availability and turnaround are freshness-sensitive — collectors expect current figures. Every price/availability figure carries a "Checked on {date}" stamp pulled from the dated source it came from, and pages expose a dateModified in their structured data. When the underlying dataset refreshes, the static site is rebuilt so the dates and the prices move together. We do not bump dates cosmetically.

The completeness gate (depth before breadth)

A company profile or country page is submitted to search engines (indexable) only when it clears a completeness bar: at least one published, dated price tier. Companies and markets below the bar are kept visible in the directory but carry noindex and are not listed in the sitemap. This avoids thin, near-duplicate pages. Of 45 companies tracked, 33 currently have published, dated pricing.

Disclaimers

• Modeled comparison, not a quote. All-in landed costs are modeled from sourced components; the grader's own checkout is authoritative.
• Not tax or customs advice. VAT/customs lines are indicative; consult the official rules for your route.
• Prices change. Always verify on the official site before submitting.
• No ratings yet. We do not publish "best/cheapest/fastest" rankings or review scores — our sentiment records are not statistically representative and are never presented as ratings.
